Olann _of Rathlin
An Ulster University brief
Brand identity for Olann, a luxury knitwear brand from Rathlin Island.
Olann = 'Wool' in the Irish language.
Wool is often considered a byproduct of the meat industry. Olann aims to change that perspective. Their goal is to elevate wool from a byproduct to a primary, valued product in its own right.
Spun from a storied past, Olann celebrates everything that makes it unique. Motivated to create a more sustainable future, it never seeks to emulate others. Rooted in Rathlin, this is Olann.
Typography plays a key role in expressing the uniqueness of the brand and of Rathlin Island itself.

The out-of-home campaign is designed to inspire the audience to adopt more sustainable shopping habits.
Olann's ecommerce website educates its community about circular practices and about Rathlin Island.
